Julia Luquette brings dynamic energy and sharp analytical skills to her role as a Bookkeeper II at Account Sense. Her day-to-day activities include processing payroll, entering monthly transactional accounting data, and filing quarterly payroll and excise tax returns. Julia also dedicates much of her time to researching tax topics, ensuring that she and her clients remain ahead of the curve. Her passion for solving financial challenges, especially those involving point-of-sale systems, makes her a valuable part of the client experience. In addition to her financial expertise, Julia uses her creativity to support our company culture as a member of the Account Sense party planning committee.

Julia is from Rainier, OR, a two-stoplight town on the Columbia River. Her love for numbers stemmed from an inspiring high school accounting class. This experience paved the way for Julia to earn a bachelor's degree in business and accounting at Southern New Hampshire University. Julia joined our team during her final year at SNHU, transitioning smoothly from barista to bookkeeper—an impressive blend of service and finance.

Julia has lived in Kennewick, WA, since 2020, and when she's not crunching numbers or planning the next company event, you can find her on hiking trails, conquering snowboarding slopes, hitting golf balls, paddleboarding, and unwinding with spin classes and yoga. She is also a newlywed and "cool aunt" to her nieces and nephews.
